Atletico Madrid will battle it out with their top-four rivals Girona FC in a
La Liga match at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano on 13 April.

The Mattress Makers claimed a 2-1 win over Villarreal CF away on 1 April as they snapped their two-match winless run in the Spanish top-flight.
However, Atletico lost to FC Barcelona in their last home match in this competition and the defeat ended their 25-match unbeaten run at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano.
Meanwhile, Girona emerged as 3-2 winners over Real Betis at home on 31 March and it was their second win in their last three La Liga matches.
However, the White and Reds are winless in their last four away matches in the league having recorded four successive defeats as the visitors.

Atletico players Thomas Lemar, Marcos Paulo and Hermoso are currently injured while Pablo Barrios is suspended.
Girona, on the other hand, are likely to be without injured players Ricard Artero and Toni Villa while Iván Martín is suspended.

"(Saul Niguez) entered the game well and scored a great goal," Atletico manager Diego Simeone said after his side's win over Villarreal.
"I've put him on a bunch of times because I believe in him and I hope he can give us a lot. Athletic are having a very good season, Girona aren't giving up, and we have to improve.
"Pace of play and intensity decide things and we have to improve in that regard."
Head-to-Head
Girona beat Atletico 4-3 in their last La Liga meeting which took place at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi on 3 January 2024.
It was the White and Reds' first-ever league win over the Mattress Makers and prior to the match they had recorded three defeats and three draws against the Madrid giants.
